I will poste some screenshots of the covermaker tool as soon as i have something ready.
MEDIACENTER UPDATE UPDATE
I do need quite a lot of testing before any update of those tools. Both the converter and the pictures&audio2video gets a few new options, but they are far from finished yet. At the same time I have also been working on several other changes and fixes on the other tools on this site. This is a new tool I am going to add to the EDM family of programs. The last week I have been testing out some components for use with a cover maker. If you want to know more about me and my dog you will find lot's of pictures and info on my Facebook page. As some readers know I also have a dog that take up a lot of my time. You can expect updates of all above tools before christmas. Those problems forced me to rewrite a large part of the program, but the tool itself will be quite a lot better. I did run into a few problems I need to solve to get it to work the way I want. Still not finished with the update of the pictures&audio2video either. Besides this new tool I am also working with the video player part and the converter. I do expect to have something to show late in next month, but I will post updates on work progress along the way. That said, it requires a lot of work from my part, and it will take some time to finish. This means there will be almost unlimited ways to create stunning covers and presentations, greeting cards, posters etc. It will have lots in common with desktop publishing. I have been working out what to do with all the new options I now have regarding this, and start writing the code for the new tool. And all I want to say so far is that the possibilities with these new components far exceeds a standard covermaker. Well, I have found what I was looking for. In the last update i wrote about a covermaker tool, and that i was testing out some components for that use. At this point we’ll have to just wait and see, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know.It has been a while since last work update. Or they could be provided separately as normal Windows Updates.
MEDIACENTER UPDATE WINDOWS 8.1
It could be that the general release of Windows 8.1 will automatically include these fixes. While it’s great news that it fixes the issues, what we still don’t know is when Microsoft will actually release it. It has been confirmed to us to have fixed the Windows Media Center plugin issues without even needing to reinstall the plugins. It has been leaked though, and many people have been installing it to find out what is inside.
MEDIACENTER UPDATE UPGRADE
That means that if you’ve been running a Windows 8 Media Center you may indeed be able to upgrade to 8.1 relatively soon without too much fear of it breaking all of your beloved plugins.īefore you rush off to Windows Update to get this update you should know that it hasn’t actually been released by Microsoft yet. We’re hearing from developers that GA Rollup A does fix this problem. One of the main problems with Windows 8.1 that we’ve been frustrated by at the DMZ is that basically all Windows Media Center plugins have been broken in the new release.

This update appears to be a bunch of fixes to the RTM version of Windows 8.1 that have been developed since its release late this summer. Many sites, including the WinSuperSite, have released information about a forthcoming update to Windows 8.1 being called GA Rollup A.
